Community

We’re focused on what matters most in Chattanooga

At the Junior League of Chattanooga, we adapt to our community’s most pressing needs, ensuring our efforts are always relevant. Our work is ever evolving, keeping us agile and ready to tackle whatever comes next.

Our community’s commitment to education and growth is consistently realized through the dedicated efforts of our members in collaboration with local organizations. Each year, we expand our network of Community Partners by actively listening to and addressing the evolving needs of our community.

In 2025, we are proud to announce the addition of over five new partnerships, each aimed at achieving new milestones and supporting the unique missions of these organizations. Our goal is to empower Chattanooga women with civic leadership skills, which they can then apply to make a meaningful impact in their communities. By focusing on leadership development, we provide opportunities for women to grow personally and professionally, while positively influencing the places they live and work.

A League of Learners

A League of Learners is JLC’s holistic effort to remove barriers that prevent women and children from thriving. This initiative goes beyond academics, addressing issues such as poverty, food insecurity, limited access to childcare and transportation, and emotional well-being. Through strategic partnerships, targeted funding, and a dedicated volunteer base, we aim to foster leadership among women, stabilize families, and create environments where children can succeed.

We’re Creating Fulfilling Leadership Opportunities Throughout Chattanooga

JLC offers so much more than local volunteering opportunities! Our League of leaders creates real change by advancing social activism-focused projects that directly benefit the communities of Chattanooga. By giving women the tools to lead, educating them about their communities’ needs, and helping them put their unique brand of creativity and skill to work, Junior League of Chattanooga is making a big impact in Hamilton County.
